<description><![CDATA[Is it fair to say that agencies should stick with their core competency? <br/>Can a 'full-service' agency truly provide quality across all offerings? Is terming yourself a digital strategist and then delivering across all digital specialisms any different?<br/>It's natural that businesses want to expand their offering in order to increase revenue but are they in danger of providing an inferior service in some areas and then diluting their brand perception in respect of their core service?<br/>Is a search agency that employs a few web developers going to be as good as a specialist web design agency? Or would you pay a web build agency to manage your search needs because they've hired a search team but have not developed the proprietary search tools that a specialist agency would use?<br/>Obviously, a broader offering allows a client one point of contact and an ability to build a strategy where where different aspects of your digital marketing complement one another.<br/>Maybe it is easier for a global agency with huge budgets to be able to expand their offering horizontally through acquisition but shouldn't all but the largest players stick with their specialist subject? In a world where customers are looking for true specialists is this the right approach?<br/>I'm undecided - holistic approach to deliver a joined-up digital strategy to clients or specialists sitting in silos. What do people think?]]></description>

Their announcement was obviously timed to deflect attention from Microsoft announcing the pre-launch of Windows 7 and the new charging structure for Office. Compared with Google's usual launch strategy of surprising the marketplace with a finished product, this does seem to be out of character.<br/><br/>Or are Google trying to ensure the success of cloud computing to reduce the dominance of MS in the traditional computing market? <br/><br/>One thing is for sure, when it does arrive there will be a massive opportunity for the IT security industry...]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Given the money that is being invested in this market on the assumption that the cloud is sustainable - Netbooks, Smartphones, Nokia's new mini computer etc - I cannot see overload becoming a problem; governments and providers are incetivised to ensure it is not.<br/>I wonder, though, what the manufacturers of domestic storage capacity are doing to mitigate the decline in their business if everyone is backing-up their photos, music etc online?]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[The biggest threat to cloud computing is an overload on internet usage, unless this is sorted out in the next 2-5 years cloud computing and other such technologies may fail due to reduced/delayed user experience. However as a technology I think it is great and will reduce greatly the cost of infrastructure for companies. But again may turn out to be more expensive if traffic/bandwidth costs are not brought down.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[at most of places, it says that speed of chrome browser is faster. Here are some more observations:<br/><br/>The good:<br/><br/>-- Reliability. Chrome's multiprocess architecture makes a bad Web page less likely to take down the whole browser.<br/>-- Speed. Chrome loads fast and keeps your surfing superfast.<br/>-- Simplicity. Its clean design wastes no screen space.<br/>-- Searching. The Omnibox lets you type search terms or URLs into a single spot and figures out what you want.<br/>-- Privacy. Chrome offers an "Incognito" mode that lets you easily leave no footprints from where you've been.<br/><br/>The bad:<br/><br/>-- Privacy. Chrome's taken a lot of heat for its monitoring and collection of user data, some of which happens before you even hit Enter.<br/>-- Security. It didn't take long for users to discover vulnerabilities in the beta browser. Several of these have already been patched.<br/>-- Reliability. Some sites and online services still don't work with Chrome.<br/>-- Consistency. Because Chrome is build on the WebKit system, it differs from the dominant platforms that most designers focus on.<br/>-- Support. Chrome doesn't yet have any add-ons or customization options available. It's yet to be seen how these, once developed, will compare to the rich options available for Firefox.]]></description>
