Mo.Majad Posts 2	The biggest threat to cloud computing is an overload on internet usage, unless this is sorted out in the next 2-5 years cloud computing and other such technologies may fail due to reduced/delayed user experience. However as a technology I think it is great and will reduce greatly the cost of infrastructure for companies. But again may turn out to be more expensive if traffic/bandwidth costs are not brought down.

Tony K Posts 3	Given the money that is being invested in this market on the assumption that the cloud is sustainable - Netbooks, Smartphones, Nokia's new mini computer etc - I cannot see overload becoming a problem; governments and providers are incetivised to ensure it is not. I wonder, though, what the manufacturers of domestic storage capacity are doing to mitigate the decline in their business if everyone is backing-up their photos, music etc online?
